bmw-hibrid.jpg

After the recent launch of the fifth generation 7 Series, BMW announced that trains and a hybrid version of limuzinei which will be available starting next year. The new hybrid propulsion Bavarian is developed together with Daimler and uses batteries based litium-ion.

Hybrid version of the new 7 Series is a premiere in the range BMW, the manufacturer german concentrandu-up to this point more than the development of propulsion systems based on hydrogen cells or on the most efficient consumption by EfficientDynamics technology.

The new hybrid will not be able to use only in individual electricity hibridele as usual, most likely because of the large mass of limuzinei which can not be propulsata only electric engine. BMW has developed a system to recover energy from braking to be used for filling batteries based litium-ion.

To speed up the process of building an image of environmental auto manufacturer - “green”, BMW has given less importance consumption. Thus, if there will be a hybrid version of the new 750i, limo equipped with the V8 unit 4.4 litre gasoline would not be able to obtain a level of emissions and a consumer version lower than diesel 730d. Most likely, the hybrid solution, which are combined performance of an electric motor with a diesel, most often encountered in hybrid cars last generation, could be materialized in the range BMW 730d hybrid model.
With the new hybrid 7 Series, BMW will have to face competition which has a vast experience much more about hibridelor. Thus, Lexus LS600h will be the main rival of the future BMW 7 Series hybrid with Toyota in the rear group, one of pionerii hybrid models.

BMW to launch ‘New 650i Convertible’ in Korea

bmw-650i.JPG

BMW launched ‘New 650i Convertible’ in Korea market. It is powered by 4.79 liter V8 engine with 367 horse power and 50.0kg.m maximum torque.
The BMW 650i convertible is arguably the finest expression of Mr. Bangle’s “flame surfacing.” Viewed from the front, the vehicle resembles a shark. In grey or dark blue colors, the 650i has a distinctly ominous presence. If you did nothing more than stare at the front end of this car, you’d feel it was $80k well spent. Unfortunately, eventually, you will walk around to the back …

The 650i’s back end is the Bimmer’s most badly Bangled bit. The chopped roofline of the soft-top narrows to a slit for the rear window, with dorsal fins protruding back from the rear edges. I’m not sure quite what visual impact Bangle’s boyz intended, but the design sure makes backing-up or checking for cars on your flanks an exercise in trust in your fellow man. If you raise the 650i’s trunk, step back and imagine what the vehicle might have looked like with a more conservative tail line, you get the feeling Chris snatched pretension from the jaws of greatness.

The introduction of the subtlety revised BMW 6-Series last summer prompted AC Schnitzer to update its sport package for the Bavarian Coupe. The German tuning firm’s bodykit for the 2008 6-Series includes a rear spoiler with an integrated brake light, new style side skirts, a revised version of AC’s “bunny-tooth” shaped lower air-intake (we don’t know why AC insists on using it) and a new rear skirt. The 6-Series Coupe’s looks are complemented by new 20-inch alloy rims and a new sports rear silencer with chromed tailpipes. n terms of mechanical upgrades apart from the sport suspension and the high-performance brake system, AC Schnitzer has developed a sport kit for the first diesel version of the 6-Series, the 635d. With AC Schnitzer’s kit, the ACS6 3.5d’s 3.0-liter, twin-turbocharged straight six develops 310 HP and 680 Nm or 501 lbs/ft of toque instead of 286 HP and 580 Nm.
