Audi will exceed 1 million units sold in 2008

Audi announced the best quarter in history regarding the sales of automobiles. Mark premium of the Volkswagen group reported sales of 516,000 units in January-June period.
Although Audi recorded a growth of only 1.4% compared to similar period last year, figures show that German mark passes through the best six months of history, regarding the volume of sales.
“In 2008 we will achieve the target of 1 million cars sold, for the first time in history,” said Rupert Stadler, Audi CEO.
German producer in 2007 sold a total of 964,151 units, and if the trend will continue growth will reach the 13th consecutive year of increased sales.
